U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., cut the ribbon on his new district office in Savannah on Friday.

The office is at 6602 Abercorn St. He also has a district office in Brunswick.

Carter, a former Pooler mayor and state lawmaker, was elected to his first term in Congress last year and took office in January.
