The Long County Blue Tide Super Smash Bros Ultimate teams are off to a hot start for the Spring season. Splash Smash and Tsunami Tsmash both swept the competition for perfect 3-0 wins in their week three matchups on Wednesday, February 26.

Tsunami Tsmash took on Veterans High School and Jaiden Jones was up first. He used Little Mac to take on Corrin in the first game and he won 1-0 even after falling behind 2-1 early in the game.

His opponent switched to Snake in the second game and Jones had little trouble defeating him as he went on to 3-0 victory to win the set 2-0.

Jacob DeWitt was up next and he was in for a mirror match as it was Roy vs Roy. DeWitt proved he was the superior Roy user as he won both games 1-0 to win the set 2-0 and put his team up 2-0.

Owen Stone was up next and he used Sonic against a Kirby main. He went to win both games 1-0 to win the set 2-0 and give his team the 3-0 match victory.

For Splash Smash, it was an even more lopsided match as they took on Johnson-Savannah. Deron Cumming was up first as he used King Dedede to take on Little Mac.

Cummings won the game 1-0 and decided to switch to Kirby for the second game. The game was a little closer, but Cummings pulled out the 1-0 win to put Splash Smash up 1-0.

Ben Stokes was up next as he took on Cloud using Steve in the first game. He dominated to win 3-0 before his opponent switched to Sonic.

His opponent used Sonic’s speed to take one stock off Stokes, but he went on to the 2-0 victory to put his team up 2-0.

Patrick McClennon was up next and using Pokemon Trainer, he dominated early on. He won the first game against Richter 2-0 and the second against Greninja 3-0 as he helped his team to a 3-0 match victory.

Tsunami Tsmash wins their second straight match to get to 2-1 on the season while Splash Smash is still undefeated. Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday, March 5 before an open week.
