ROME, Ga. — Shorter University has announced students named to the dean’s list during the fall semester of 2015.

To achieve this honor, students must have been enrolled full time and have earned at least a 3.5 GPA for the term.

Local students who made the list are Devin Helvie of Hinesville and Charlene Calhoun of Riceboro.

Shorter, founded in 1873,  is a Christian institution.
