Canady’s Heating • Air • Plumbing has launched the fourth annual Canady’s Coats for Kids drive for the winter season. Canady’s Coats for Kids has partnered with the United Way of the Coastal Empire to collect donations of new, unused coats for children aging from infant to 17 years old.

The Canady’s Coats for Kids Campaign kicked off on Monday, November 27, and runs through Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Canady’s will deliver the coats for distribution to the United Way of the Coastal Empire on Thursday, January 4, 2024. The United Way of the Coastal Empire will distribute the coats to member agencies serving children in need in January.

“We’re excited to kick off the fourth year of our Canady’s Coats for Kids Campaign,” Fred Canady, Founder of Canady’s Heating • Air • Plumbing, said. “From the beginning, the community has been so generous in donating new coats for children in need. Thanks to such caring and generosity, folks in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties are really helping to make a difference.”

Canady’s Coats for Kids has donation sites at several convenient locations. Collection boxes are inside each donation site’s lobby from Monday, November 27, 2023 through Wednesday, January 3, 2024. This year, Belk at Oglethorpe Mall has joined the effort as a collection site. For more information, go to Canadys.com.
