Vaden Automotive announces its acquisition of Mike Reed Chevrolet, a dealership that has served the Hinesville and Liberty County communities for more than two decades. This transition marks a new chapter for both teams and reflects Vaden’s continued investment in the Hinesville community.
With this acquisition, Vaden deepens its footprint in Hinesville through three community-focused operations: Vaden Nissan Hinesville, Savannah Car Rentals in Hinesville and now Vaden Chevrolet of Hinesville.
“This is an investment in what’s already great about Hinesville,” said Jane Vaden Thacher, president and dealer operator of Vaden Automotive. “Mike Reed Chevrolet has been a pillar in this community for over 25 years, and we’re honored to continue that legacy of trust, service, and local pride. Our goal is to build on that foundation, deepen relationships, and show Hinesville that the Vaden Way means putting people first.”
The dealership will continue operating with the same familiar team and personalized service that customers have come to expect — now with the added resources and support of one of the Southeast’s most respected automotive groups.
“Hinesville has long been part of our regional growth vision,” said Jack Thacher, Vaden Automotive F&I (finance and insurance) director. “Between our Nissan store, our rental operations, and now Chevrolet, we’re proud to be woven into the fabric of this community. From supporting our military families to expanding educational and workforce partnerships, our goal is to keep driving forward together… right here in Hinesville.”
The official transition took place on November 12, marking a celebration of new beginnings for employees, partners, and customers alike.
