Whitman Pharmacy will move from 200 W. Oglethorpe Highway to a new location at 481 E.G. Miles Parkway on Monday. The new pharmacy, which will be called Hinesville Pharmacy, is across from Liberty Regional Medical Center. The pharmacy will maintain the same ownership and staff.
“We look forward to the being in our new location, and to continuing the Whitman Pharmacy tradition with the same friendly staff and personal attention,” said Al Dixon, Hinesville Pharmacy co-owner. “This move is an investment in the growth and prosperity of Hinesville and Liberty County. It also solidifies our commitment to provide the most modern conveniences to our community, while maintaining our hometown values.”
The pharmacy, anchor business of Hinesville Professional Center, will feature state-of-the-art equipment, prescription compounding, a drive-through window and an expanded gift shop.
“Moving to the new location gives us the opportunity to give our customers even better and faster service with the same friendly faces and personal attention they’ve come to expect,” said co-owner Alex Tucker. “We’re excited about the new name as well. It gives our pharmacy a name consistent with the community it serves.”
Hinesville Pharmacy joined the Coastal Family of Pharmacies as Whitman Pharmacy in 2006. They are the only independent pharmacy in Hinesville, serving the community for more than 30 years.
