Editor, Is there really a problem with climate change? Some scientists, who think they know more then God, believe there is.
Let us compare the qualifications of both parties. From Webster’s dictionary we can find the attributes of God. First of all, God is an infinite being without limits of any kind. God is omniscient, having all knowledge. God is omnipotent, having all power. God is also omnipresent, being present in all places at all times.
On the other hand, man is finite, having limits, not having all knowledge, not having all power, and not being able to be present in all places at all times.
The omniscient and omnipotent God not only created the physical Earth but also the hundreds of laws that make life on Earth possible. He created the laws of ethics, mathematics, morals, nature, physics, and the many sciences to name just a few. Then, God gave man the freedom to discover these laws and to respect and obey them.
God knows and understands all of the laws He created, including the laws of weather and climate. Finite man can only mar God’s perfect creation with his limited knowledge.
God made this statement about Himself, “I am the Lord, exercising loving kindness, judgment and righteousness in the Earth,” Jeremiah 9:24. God not only created the Earth and all its laws, but God also created man and gave him a free-will to worship God or something else.
Our Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with the certain unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. No man-made laws should take away any of these rights.
