Editor: The Pattman-Jones family would like to take this opportunity to graciously and humbly thank all of you for your generosity during the passing of my husband, our father and grandfather, Sgt. Maj. Nathaniel Pattman Jr.

During the time of our bereavement you showed compassion, love and support.

The food, cards, flowers, telephone calls, visits and words of encouragement were most welcome and appreciated.

We, the immediate family, extended family and friends from far and near were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from friends, churches, pastors, community leaders, and state and local representatives.

We would like to especially thank our pastors, Bishop M.L. Jackson and the Mt. Zion Baptist Church family, the Rev. W.R. Brown, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and the Rev. Bobby Pattman Sr., Indian Creek Baptist Church. Special thanks to Deacon Richard and Deaconess Beverly Banks.
