Editor, I was in the post office in Hinesville on May 16, and there was a very lovely lady standing in line before me. The line was very long and she insisted I go in front of her. I said no and thanked her but she stepped behind me anyway. (I use a walker and am unable to walk without one).
When I finished my business there was a young man, around 8 to 10 years old, waiting to open the doors for me. I don’t know if he was the son of the lady, but I thanked them both and regret I did not get their names.
I hope they see this letter and know I really appreciate what they did for me.
One of my favorite hymns is “He Touched Me,” and that pretty much describe what these two individuals did for me. They really touched me and they are in my prayers. I’ll remember them always.
