Marchers only 'pro life' until baby is born
Letter to the editor

Editor: The Pro Life march in DC on Friday did nothing to advance its cause. I have listened to many of the speeches and scanned even more of protest pictures the last couple of days and only come away with more questions than they provide answers.

Where were the signs and speakers supporting resolution of the water crisis in Flint, Michigan?

Where were the signs and speakers supporting accessible and affordable healthcare for children?

Where were the signs and speakers supporting childhood immunizations?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating adoption as an alternative to abortion?

Where were the signs and speakers against cyber bullying which plagues our nation’s youth?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating for more HIV research to improve treatment regimens for our children and adolescents who have AIDS through no fault of their own?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating for substance abuse prevention and treatment for our children and adolescents?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating against child abuse and domestic violence?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating for adequacy of foster care services?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating for adequacy of child care for working parents?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating for improved enforcement of child support laws?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating to combat homelessness?

Where were the signs and speakers advocating to combat hunger?

I will tell you where - nowhere!

Why? Because, they are only pro-life until the baby is born. Logical conclusion - they are only anti-abortion.
