“My son told me that a Liberty County High School Football player passed out at football practice. And most of the players and some of the coaches left him there on the ground.

Liberty County High School coaches should be ashamed of themselves. Only a handful of football players stood on the field until the ambulance came. Anything over 96 degrees they should not be practicing anyway. Superintendent Dr. Perry please look into this.”

“Does hair color affect teaching ability? What color was your grammar teacher’s hair?”

“At a local restaurant when I heard Vicky Nelson identify herself as a councilwoman and asked if she could get a discount, well she got the discount but lost my vote.”

“In response to the individual commenting on my daughter’s hair color: Do you also question the professionalism of people with tattoos, piercings, etc?  If you are truly concerned about her level of professionalism, go meet her, ask for a tour of her classroom, and watch her interact with her class. She teaches one of the hardest groups of kids. While you are in her classroom, take a good look at the furnishings, especially the loft, all purchased by her for her kids! You may not like her hair color, but she and the kids love it! Find a bigger battle!”

“I’d like to commend Mayor Fuller of Ludowici, and the city council, for carrying out the past mayor’s wishes for dropping the millage rate again. While the county continues to raise taxes, Ludowici has got the cheapest taxes of any city anywhere around, water rates, garbage pick-up… I’d just like to commend the mayor and council for continuing to hold taxes down. And not only hold them down but for dropping the millage rate two or three times now.”

“Patty Leon, as a citizen of Hinesville, I just want you and your staff to know how much my family and I enjoy reading the Coastal Courier. Many thanks to you and your staff for publishing what my family and l view as a very good community newspaper. A well informed citizen is a good citizen. Keep up the good work.”
