The Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers held the Dougherty Lady Trojans scoreless in the fourth quarter and ran their record to a 5-0 with a convincing 63-20 victory to close the Joe Greene Classic.
Bradwell led 43-13 at the half.
Ja’Nya Bush led the way with 20 points, and Jamia Ousley scored 11. Saniya Garner, Destini McLemore and Mikayla Oliveira each had nine points, and Janiyah Blevins added five. Bush also recorded nine rebounds and seven assists, and Oliveira pulled down nine boards.
The Bradwell boys also hit 5-0 with a 92-47 romp over the New Hampstead Phoenix. Five Tigers finished in double figures, with Jah’Barri Felix leading the way with 23 points. Zi’on Thomas had 21 points, Chris Perry scored 13, Fortune Hicks chipped in 11 and Jordan Gregg scored 10 points. Bradwel shot 52% (34-of-66) from the floor.
Gregg also finished with 11 rebounds and six steals.
Bradwell hosts Lowndes on Friday, with the girls game starting at 5 p.m., and Groves on Saturday, with the girls tipping off at 3:30 p.m.
