The Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers ended their season Monday with a 55-43 loss to Ware County in the first round of the Region 3-AAAAA at Effingham County High School.
The Lady Tigers ended with a 13-13 overall mark and 5-7 region record.
Brianna Johnson led BI with 19 points, while Raina Richardson added 16 points.
The Lady Tigers will lose senior starters Jakaria Fleming and JaVaughna Claridy as well as reserves Kieria Martin and Zhantel Davenport. But coach Faye Baker already thinks the team will be well off next season.
“The future looks bright,” she said. “We have nine players returning next year.”
The Bradwell boys’ team was scheduled open its region play Tuesday against Richmond Hill. Results were unavailable at press time.
