The Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers fell to the South Effingham Lady Mustangs, 11-0, in three innings Thursday in Springfield.
Already up, 1-0, the Lady Mustangs drove in six more runs in the bottom of the second inning. South Effingham closed the game early by adding four runs in the third inning forcing the run rule.
The Lady Tigers had two hits in the game.
Bradwell is 0-3 in Region 3-AAAAA and 3-11 overall. The Lady Tigers host Statesboro at 5 p.m. next Thursday in another region contest.

Cavs take series opener from Tide

The Long County Blue Tide baseball game into the week knowing they needed to bring their A-game if they were going to beat the Calvary Day Cavaliers. On Tuesday, April 1, they struggled to get much going at the plate as the Cavaliers pulled away late to win the series opener 10-1.
