One of Liberty County’s newer AAU basketball teams, the Blazers, is establishing itself. The team is coached by Cedric Robertson, who runs "There’s Still Hope Outreach Program." The squad was created last May. Robertson said he is promoting physical fitness and sportsmanship while helping youth understand the fundamentals of basketball. The team is open to children who live in Liberty County.

Robertson said the team already has several games scheduled, but he is still accepting new players. The coach thanked Dennis Waters, Palm Coast Utilities, St. James Sports Center and Community Center, the city of Walthourville, the Liberty County Recreation Department, Osteen and Osteen and the United Way for helping his team through donations.
