Nicholas Kassotis is escorted to Liberty County Jail following his extradition from Pennsylvania.

A man accused in the December killing and dismemberment of his wife was granted bond Monday morning in Liberty County Superior Court.

Judge Paul Rose granted a $5 million cash bond and a $10 million property bond for Nicholas Kassotis. Kassotis also must wear an ankle monitor and is prohibited from contact with witnesses.

Kassotis was arrested in May in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He faces two counts of murder, one count of aggravated assault, one count of removal of a human body part from the scene of a dismemberment/death and one count of tampering with evidence.

Hunters found the body of his wife, Mindi Mebane Kassotis, near Riceboro on December 2.

Kassotis was ordered held without bond by a Liberty County magistrate on May 27.
