Bradwell Institute’s boys’ track team competed in the Swamp Relays in Waycross, finishing second overall out of 14 teams.

Tiger track coach D’Andre Davis said he was pleased with the finish, especially because a few of his competitors weren’t able to make the meet.
He said Terrius Crimiel won the 110- and the 300-meter hurdles, finished third in the triple jump and was the high-point winner.

He noted that Tiger Da’Shaun Coleman was also a top performer. He placed first in the high jump and second in the 400-meter dash.
Coleman tied for second in the high-point award.

Tiger Imari Hurte won the long jump clearing 22 feet, 2 inches.
“He broke his own freshman record that he set two weeks ago by 1 inch,” Davis said, adding that Hurte also broke the freshman record in the 100-meter dash by finishing in 11.09 seconds.

Tiger Ty Gowen finished second in the pole vault, clearing 9 feet.
