County commission honors Bulldogs’ Walthour
Liberty County Proud proclamation to Tramel Walthour’s mother Tracy
Flanked by fellow commissioners Justin Frasier, Marion Stevens Sr., Connie Thrift, Gary Gilliard and Eddie Walden, Chairman Donald Lovette presents a Liberty County Proud proclamation to Tramel Walthour’s mother Tracy during a recent Liberty County commission meeting.

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners recognized University of Georgia senior defensive lineman Tramel Walthour with a Liberty County Proud plaque.

Walthour was a member of the Bulldogs 2021 and 2022 national championship teams and he joined the commission’s meeting via Zoom following practice. “I want to appreciate everybody and the whole county for supporting me. I just want to say thank you and I appreciate it,” he said.

Commissioners presented the plaque to his mother Tracy.

“We are proud of his accomplishments and proud of how he represents Liberty County,” Chairman Donald Lovette said.
