Dickey paces Bradwell with seventh-place finish at meet

Henry Dickey placed seventh to lead the Bradwell Institute boys cross country team at the Region 1-AAAAA meet, hosted by Coffee High School.

Dickey finished with a time of 17:08.22. Franklin Delacruz was 15th at 18:53.07, David Ortiz was 17th at 19:20.94, Rocky Bosch took 18th at 19:24.29 and Jordan Jackson was 29th with a time of 20:32.33.

Alysia Estrada led the Bradwell girls with a ninth-place finish and a time of 21:23.26. Jule Bandte was 27th at 26:20.99, Olivia Vesselee was right behind at 26:22.45, Gabriela Nava was 30th at 26:39.05 and Aku Komlan was 31st at 27:00.28.

Greenbrier swept the boys and girls team titles and individual honors. Greenbrier’s Caden Williams topped all boys runners with a time of 16:07.17 and the Wolfpack claimed the region team title with five finishers in the top eight. Allison Sidley turned in a time of 20:07.23 to take the girls title, and the Wolfpack claimed five of the top six spots.
