Richard Lovelady is leading the Ocean State Waves in wins so far this season. Lovelady, the former First Presbyterian Christian Academy hurler, is 3-0 for the Waves, the New England Collegiate Baseball League team he started playing for this summer. As of Saturday, Lovelady had three saves, a 2.64 earned-run average and 18 strikeouts, second on the team, had allowed 14 hits and had pitched 19 innings in 14 games.
