The University of Miami Women’s basketball team prepares to open their regular season Friday when they host Florida Atlantic University at noon.

Clark, a sophomore, put up 11 points for the game as the Lady Canes’ guard and forward.
As a freshman, Clark played in all 30 games and registered 20 starts as a true freshman. She started in 13 of 14 ACC contests and was among only six players to rank among the ACC’s top five freshman in three or more categories.

She also grabbed 11 boards versus Nicholls State. She came out on top after her fourth-straight start, finishing with career highs of 20 points and two blocks versus Boston College.
Clark played all 40 minutes versus Georgia Tech for the first time in her career, finishing just shy of a double-double with 11 points, nine rebounds and a career-high four assists. She nearly posted a double-double in the previous game at Boston College finishing with 16 points and eight boards.
Clark grabbed five-or-more rebounds in 17 games, including in eight of the last 12, made her first career start versus Indiana, and had her first double-figure scoring game with 11 points against Jackson State.
At Bradwell, she was a four-year, varsity-letter winner in basketball and a three-year letter winner in volleyball. As a Tiger she averaged 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and nearly two blocks per game.
She earned First Team All-Georgia State and First Team All-Coastal Empire honors as a senior in 2005-06. She was named the District Player of the Year and earned second team All-state honors as a junior in 2004-05, a second team All-district selection in 2003-04 and an All-Coastal Empire Honorable Mention pick in 2002-03.
