The First Preparatory Christian Highlanders closed out the home portion of their basketball campaign with a resounding win over Memorial Day on Tuesday.
The Highlanders thrashed the Matadors 80-26, as Robert McCloud scored 36 points on his senior night.
Brandon Betton and DeVeon Clark each scored 13, and Jace Reid added eight points.
The win was the eighth straight for the Highlanders, who are now 15-3 overall and 5-0 in GIAA Region 6-A.
McCloud led five Highlanders in double figures in a 73-61 win over Citizens Christian Academy on Friday. McCloud had 20 points, while Malachi Furlow scored 18, Betton chipped in 13, Clark added 11 and Reid finished with 10 points.
Gray McLean had 33 points for the Patriots.
FPCA also posted an 85-59 win over Robert Toombs Christian Academy last Tuesday, as five Highlanders recorded double-figure scoring nights. McCloud led the way with 25 points while Furlow had 18, Clark scored 17, Betton had 13 and Reid finished with 12.
Drew Edwards paced the Crusaders with 25 points.
FPCA finishes the regular season with road games tonight at Bethesda and Friday at RTCA.
