The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host the 13th annual Golf Classic presented by Coastal Electric Cooperative on April 27 at Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.

The chamber will make a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor and memory of Gary Newsome, a former Georgia Power employee and chamber board member who passed away from cancer.

Teams for the annual four-man scramble are comprised of community and business members from throughout the county who enter for a chance to place in the top three and win cash prizes.

There are several levels of sponsorships available, in addition to opportunities to provide gifts toward door prizes or marketing materials in the bags that are handed to all participants.
