Two local golfers recently earned scholarships for their performances on the course, in the classroom and in the community.
Liberty County High School graduate Ben Floyd and Bradwell Institute graduate Ryan Norris each received a $500 scholarship from the HAPfan Golf Foundation.
The HAPfan Golf Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2009 in memory of Stafford’s mother, Mabel Creel. According to Stafford, the board seeks scholarship applicants who are honest, respectful, cooperative, self-motivated and persistent.
