First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlander golf coach Rob Whitney and assistant coach Anthony Gallob thought their team’s recent third-place finish at the Georgia Independent School Association’s region tournament warranted a reward.

On May 5, the coaches packed up their golfers and took them to the Player’s Championship Golf Tournament at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Fla., where the student athletes rubbed elbows with professionals.

Before heading out of town, the FPCA team members met for a prayer breakfast with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes/Golf. FCA Golf provided each student a ticket to the tournament and a hat.
