Highlanders off to 3-0 start, blow out Bulloch Academy 83-46

First Presbyterian Christian Academy’s boys’ basketball team is 3-0 and went 2-0 this past week.
The Highlanders beat Claxton 77-61 on Nov. 17 to start the season off with a win. The team then had a break for the holidays but beat Bulloch Academy and Royal Live Oak Academy this past Friday and Saturday.

Friday night the boys were in Statesboro where they defeated Bulloch Academy 83-46. Senior George Mitchell lit up the score board with 20 points in the game. Simon Steele added 18, Isiah Scott hit 16, Khalyn Weekley contributed 13 and Trayvon Harris had 10 points. John Killough score four and Brandon Attical had two points in the win.
Saturday the FPCA boys were in Hardeeville S. C. The Highlanders wasted no time and polished off Royal Oak winning 88-39.

The double digit scorers were Harris with 21 points, Scott had 19, Mitchell had 16 and Weekley added 13 points.
This Friday the Highlanders will host Coastal Home School of Pembroke. The girls will take the court first at 6:30 p.m. The boys’ game will follow.

It’s FPCA first home game of the year. The games will be held at the St. James Sports Center in Holmestown.
