First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys basketball team is getting ready to play in the Statesboro Gentlemen’s Classic next week in Statesboro.
The Highlanders are 5-0 with their latest win being over Johnson County on Dec. 10 in Wrightsville.

Highlander Khalyn Weekley hit 23 points and George Mitchell scored 22. Isaiah Scott added 11 points for the double-digit scorers.
On Dec. 26, the boys open tournament play against host Statesboro High.
The next day the Highlanders have two games against highly ranked teams. First they take on Academy of Richmond County. Then they play Glenn Hills.
