First Presbyterian Christian Academy had a huge win over David Emanuel Academy Tuesday on the diamond in Stillmore. The Highlander boys followed up that performance with a come-from-behind win Friday at home against Twiggs Academy.FPCA beat David Emmanuel, their Region 2-AA foe, 6-5. Friday, they won, 7-6, on a walk-off hit against Twiggs, taking over first place in the region.Coach Ryan Harmon said Jared Wells pitched a complete game, allowing only two earned runs against DEA.Slugging for the Highlanders was Kyle Hill with 3 RBIs, including the go-ahead RBI in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice fly.“Hill also had a two RBI double in the sixth inning to get us back in the game,” the coach said.
