Highlanders take fourth at state cross country meet
Hayes named all-state after ninth-place finish

FPCA's Landon Hayes was named to the GIAA all-state team after his finish at the state cross country meet.

The First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders finished fourth overall in the GIAA state cross country meet, host by First Presbyterian Day School in Macon.

Landon Hayes was ninth in a time of 18:23, earning him all-state honors. Jackson McCullough was 23rd at 19:37, Rory Miles was 24th at 19:41, Connor Brown was 33rd at 20:08 and Brandon Betton was 46th at 21:15.

Mason Brown was 57th at 22:01 and Michael Christensen posted a time of 23:07.
