Hinesville gators chomp the competition

The Hinesville Gators U-12 Green won the Piggly Wiggly Soccer Tournament in Mount Pleasant, S.C., on March 24-25.
In the first game, the Gators defeated Mount Pleasant Maroon 3-0.
Clark Sukaratana and Tyler Causer scored goals in the win.
In the second game, the Gators defeated Douglas County 3-0.
Sukaratana and Causer also scored goals in this game.
In the third game, the Gators defeated the Mount Pleasant Revolutions 4-1.
Stanford Graham had a hat trick — three goals — and Sukaratana scored a goal in the win.
The final match was a difficult one for the Gators as they faced Mount Pleasant 94. Both teams played a scoreless first half, but the Gators hit their stride in the second half, scoring two goals to win 2-0.
Gator goalie Zachary Vasquez was outstanding in the tournament, not allowing any goals.    
Five other Hinesville Gator teams participated in the tournament, including the U14 Boys Select, who placed second.
The Gators travel to Thomasville on April 20 to compete in the Rose City tournament.
