Hinesville’s 10U Gator soccer team finished the fall season with a perfect record of 7-0. Jared Anderson said his team won the championship tournament held in Savannah on Nov.6 by shutting out Savannah Academy 10-0.
"We are really a team- oriented group and we survive mostly on defense," Anderson said. "My children took up soccer about two to three years ago and I was a parent on the sideline trying to figure out what was going on and I’ve watched about a million youth soccer games in the last four years. We needed a coach for this time so I decided to step up."
The team will take a break until February when they begin practice and prepare for the spring season.
