The Hinesville Gators U10 boys’ team won the Storm Soccer Tournament on May 16-17 in Savannah.
After losing the first game 5-1 to Storm 05B Black, the Gators tied the second game with Storm 04 Black from Hilton Head 5-5.
They won their third game 7-2 over the LCSA 05 white team to make it to the final.
In the final, facing Storm 05 Black again, Hinesville won 3-2, after coach Alex Alvarez made some strategic defensive changes.
