The Elite Diamond Booster Club gave Santa Claus a little help last week, with the group giving away a 6-foot Christmas stocking.

The giant stocking was raffled off by the boosters, who help sponsor the Long County High School softball team. Winners of the toy and candy filled stocking were Kadin and Natalie Pope.

The drawing took place on Tuesday at Town and Country Gift and Flower Shop in Ludowici, with Owner Tammy Ballance selecting the lucky ticket.

"We would like to thank everyone who purchased a ticket. All of the money we raised from the raffle will go to the LCHS varsity softball players," said booster Kelli Mock.
