Liberty County’s state softball-playoffs run ended Thursday with a 10-1 loss to Pike County in Zebulon.

That eliminated the Lady Panthers from the best-of-three series after splitting the first two games Wednesday in Zebulon. Liberty won the first game, 12-11, but dropped the second game, 7-2.

The Lady Panthers ended the year with a 16-16 overall mark and 5-5 Region 3-AAAA record.
