BRUNSWICK – The Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers rebounded from their first loss of the season to finish 2-1 at the Hoopin’ at the High holiday tournament.
The Lady Tigers, ranked No. 8 in Class AAAAA, closed out their tourney with a 56-49 win over the host Lady Pirates on Saturday.
Parris Parham posted a double-double, scoring 25 points while pulling down 13 rebounds. She also had four steals and four blocks.
Jamia Ousley added 13 points and four assists, Jordyn Rogers had eight points and 10 rebounds, Kaydence Kern had five points and eight rebounds, and Kayla Kirkland added five points.
Parham recorded a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Lady Tigers rallied to beat the Tift County Lady Blue Devils, ranked No. 10 in Class 6A, 46-44. Ousley chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds, Rogers scored six points to go with eight rebounds and five assists and Mikayla Oliveira had five points and pulled down six rebounds.
North Forsyth, the No. 4-ranked team in Class 6A, handed the Lady Tigers their first loss of the season in a 58-40 setback in the tourney opener.
Parham led Bradwell with 17 points while Ousley had 11 and Rogers scored nine.
Bradwell, the No. 8-ranked team in Class AAAAA, hosts Griffin on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Woodville-Tompkins on Friday at 1 p.m.
