The Bradwell Institute Lady Tiger soccer team closed out their regular season last week with a 12-2 win against cross town rival, Long County Lady Tide.

According to Coach Scott Akin, Emily Hause and Makayla Robinson demonstrated their finesse in scoring. The coach said he thinks the two players are among the top goal scorers in Region 6A.

“Hause had 7 goals and 3 assists, while Robinson added 4 goals and 4 assists,” Akin said. “Madison Burriss completed the scoring with her first goal of the season.”

Akin said Andrea Lopez, Sara Hause and Madison Steyer made consistent contributions on both sides of the soccer field.

“The back four were as stingy and valiant as they have been all season and Nevaeh Lopez was outstanding at Keeper,” Akin said.

The Lady Tigers will start their post-season run this week at Heritage Thursday April 25. The game in Conyers, Ga., is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.

The Tiger boys also closed their season with a 3-2 win at Long County. Their first playoff game is April 26 at Lakeside in Evans County. That game is set for 7 p.m.
