Lady Tigers make the grade at SCCPSS Holiday Classic

Parris Parham scored 18 points and Destini McLemore added nine points as the Lady Tigers ran their record to 10-1 with a 40-33 win over Columbia on Saturday.

Jordyn Rogers scored eight points and McLemore also pulled down seven rebounds.

The Lady Tigers withstood Jenkins’ fourth-quarter rally on Friday to open the SCCPSS Holiday Classic at Jenkins High. Bradwell led 24-11 at the break, but the Lady Warriors outscored the Lady Tigers 24-11 in the fourth.

McLemore had 10 points, nine rebounds and five assists, and Parham added a team-high 17 points to go with seven rebounds. Ty’tyana Anderson had nine points, Rogers added six and Jamia Ousley scored four. Ousley had four assists.

They will open the Hooping at the High tournament in Brunswick on December 27 at 4 p.m. against North Paulding.

Their next home game is January 4 at 5 p.m. against Liberty County.
