Lady Tigers win first round of playoffs

Lady Tigers Makayla Robinson and Emily Hause celebrate their first round win.

The Bradwell Institute Lady Tiger soccer team beat Heritage High School on April 22 to advance in the first round of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) state girls’ soccer championship in class 6-A. The girls won by a score of 2-1. The girls will play Houston County on April 28. Houston County defeated Westlake 10-0.

Liberty County High School

The Liberty County High School Panther boys’ soccer team fell 10-0 against Pike County in the first round of the GHSA Class AAA. Pike County will go against Tattnall County in round two. The Lady Panthers also faced Pike County and lost 10-0. The Pike County girls will now face Morgan County.

FPCA Boys

First Preparatory Christian Academy boys’ soccer team defeated Westfield School 6-2 on April16, but fell 6-2 on April 22, against Trinity Christian.
