The Liberty County Recreation Department thanked the coaches who coach throughout the year at the recreation board’s monthly meeting.

Six coaches were recognized for their second year of coaching at least three sports. Kaleigh Craft coaches spring soccer, two teams in fall soccer and allstar soccer. Isaiah Monfort coached two teams in basketball, and a team each in softball, football and allstar softball. Ashlynn Randolph coached basketball, fall soccer, spring soccer and all-star soccer. Jamie Robin coached spring soccer and two teams in fall soccer. Rico Wigfall coached T-ball, fall volleyball, all-star volleyball, allstar basketball and three teams in basketball. Brian Wolfe coached spring soccer, fall soccer, softball and two teams in basketball.

The LCRD also honored 14 coaches in their first year of coaching at least three sports. Reina Arvizu coaches spring soccer, fall soccer and T-ball; Hugo Boada coached fall soccer and two teams in spring soccer; Tristan Davis coached basketball, track and flag football; Brandon Gallup coached baseball and two teams in fall soccer; Bianca Gonzalez coached spring soccer, fall soccer and baseball; Harley Keefer coached track, baseball, T-ball and football; Greg Lachowsky coached spring soccer, fall soccer and softball; Chris Nelson coached two teams in spring soccer and two teams in fall soccer; Brittney Rodrick-Peden coached basketball, spring soccer, fall soccer, T-ball and flag football; Celeste Sledge coached basketball cheer, football cheer and two teams in track; Darnell Smith coached spring soccer, baseball and football; Kheri Tift coached basketball, all-star basketball, spring soccer and softball; David Wall coached spring soccer, fall soccer and basketball; and Darren Woodson coached basketball, spring soccer, fall soccer, baseball, T-ball and football.

“If you didn’t coach, we wouldn’t have these programs,” LCRD director Raymond Gross told the coaches. “I think it is important to recognize you all and make sure you are appreciated.”
