The Liberty County Recreation Department All-Star track team participated in the Georgia Recreation & Parks Association, Class A, State track meet in Augusta on May 7-8 and brought home four state champions. Tyrone Worlds won the 10 & Under Boys High Jump, Lanyiah Hinson won the 8 & Under Girls Standing Long Jump, Destini McLemore won the 12 & Under Girls Softball Throw, and Takayla Sapp won the 14 & Under Girls Softball Throw. Second place finishes: Brien Richardson- 8 & Under Boys 400M Dash, Standing Long Jump, and 4 x 100M Relay; Jordan Owens- 8 & Under Boys 4 x 100M Relay; Ronnie Stewart- 8 & Under Boys
