A day after Team East defeated Team West in the 2017 U. S. Army All-American Bowl, Liberty County football standout Richard LeCounte checked in to college.

LeCounte arrived at the University of Georgia Campus in Athens Sunday and was expected to start classes this week.
Team East beat Team West 27-17.

LeCounte had one punt return and one solo tackle in the win.
LeCounte was one of six early enrollees at UGA. All six players will start season workouts and participate in spring practice.
