The Lewis Frasier Middle School cheerleaders went to Georgia Southern University to participate in the University Cheerleading Associations (UCA) cheerleading camp held July 14-17. The camp helps cheerleaders focus on proper techniques for cheering and stunting. It also helps the young girls boost their self-esteem, build confidence, focus, and have fun in a safe, supervised environment. This year, the girls won  first place for cheer (middle school division), most improved (middle and high school division) and they won 2 superior ribbons and 2 excellent ribbons, as well as a spirit stick (for great spirit throughout the camp session).
