Liberty County XC teams qualify for state AAA meet

Devonte Roberts was the highest placing Panther at the 2-AAA cross country meet. He placed third.
The Liberty County High School boys’ and girls’ Cross Country team qualified for the state championship by finishing third at the 2-AAA Region Championships Thursday afternoon in Baxley. According to Panther cross-country coach Jarvis McArthur, the Panther boys had four runners place in the top ten, tallying 61 points. That meant the boys’ team missed second place by a mere one point.
