The Liberty County High School Panthers lost in Brooklet against Southeast Bulloch, falling 21-7.
The Panthers and Yellowjackets exchanged possessions throughout the game.
At the half, the Panther trailed 14-7. The Panthers had an opportunity to tie the game after recovering a fumble late in the third quarter.
The Yellowjackets’ defense held strong forcing the Panthers to punt.
The Yellowjackets organized their offense and within minutes it was first and goal from the Panthers’ one-yard line.
Southeast Bulloch’s Khrisitian Clark pushed his way into the endzone and the Yellowjackets took the 21-7 lead and held it to the end of the game.
The Panthers are 1-2-1 overall. They are 0-1 in Region 3-AAA. According to maxpreps.com, the Panthers don’t have any other games scheduled for the season.
