Liberty, Long tip off region tournament today

 The Region 3-AAA girls basketball tournament continues today, with Liberty County facing Calvary Day at Long County High School at 5:30 p.m.

The winner of that game will face the winner of the Johnson-Long County game, which is being played today at 5:30 p.m. at Beach High School, in the semifinals. The semifinals are set for Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Long County High School and the finals will be played Saturday at 4 p.m. at Long County.

The Long County boys will host Islands today at 7 p.m. at Long County High School and the Liberty County boys will host Jenkins at 7 p.m. today. The winner of the Long County-Islands game will meet the winner of the Beach-Windsor Forest game Friday at 8 p.m. at Long County High School. The winner of the Calvary Day-Groves game will meet the winner of the Liberty-Jenkins game in the other region semifinal Friday at 5 p.m. at Long County High School.

The region championship game will be played at 5:30 p.m. at Long County High School.
