Bryant pitched the first two innings, striking out four and walking one for the win. Montgomery pitched the final two innings, striking out six and walking three.
The Panthers racked up nine runs in the first two innings and added six in the fourth to end the game early by the run rule.

Montgomery and Colby Rhea each had an RBI single in the first inning. Jerrold Clark added an RBI double. The Rebels then committed three errors, including one that brought in two runs, and Bryant hit a two-run single during the second inning to give Liberty a 9-0 lead by the third inning.
In the fourth inning, Elvis Mack, Vincent Brunelli, Jacob Albertson and Tanner Windler each had one RBI. Walt Stanton and Aric Albertson scored two runs each, while Jacari Roberts and Vince Smith each scored one run.
The Panthers, 2-1 after the win, were scheduled to play Tuesday at Savannah Country Day; results were unavailable at press time. Liberty will play at Bradwell at 4 p.m. Friday on Military Appreciation night. Anyone with a military ID will receive free admission.
