In Wednesday’s paper, it erroneously was reported that tonight’s game was homecoming for the Blue Tide.
Tonight’s game is recreation night. All Long County Recreation Department football players and cheerleaders get into the game for free if they wear their uniforms.
Tonight also is pink-out night in recognition of breast cancer awareness. All who attend are asked to wear pink.
Also, all high school students will be allowed in for free with valid Blue Tide ID cards in honor of the school making AYP standards. To get in for free, students have to be at the game by 7:30 p.m. Homecoming for Long County is scheduled for Oct. 21, when Appling County comes to town.
A correction: Its rec night in Long County
