The Barracuda baseball team traveled to Conyers last weekend to win the USSSA Georgia West Division title. The Barracudas went undefeated in the three-day tournament, winning in pool play 9-7, 9-6 and 10-7.
Going into Sunday, the Barracudas were the top seed and defeated the Silver Wolfpack baseball team 9-1. The Barrucdas then downed the Acworth Warriors 11-9 and 9-5 to win the best-of-three championship series. 
The Barracudas currently are ranked No. 4 in the state in the  USSSA 13U A division.
The Barracudas thanked residents of Liberty County for donating money during a fundraiser April 23 outside the Hinesville Walmart. The Barracudas are coached by Chris Bell, Wesley Crystal and George Rhea.
