The Long County High School football team continues to practice through the summer heat as players become indoctrinated to the coach Ronald Flott way of doing things.
They call it the “Flott way.”
As the new head coach establishes his system, the team is learning how to run the wing bone offense.
Returning quarterback Jacob Turner appears to be the leading candidate to run the Blue Tide offense in 2011, and according to Flott, the junior is setting a good example for the rest of the team.
“I have been thoroughly pleased with his effort,” Flott said. “He didn’t miss a single workout over the summer and he also went to camp at Georgia Southern… He’s doing a great job.”
