Clemson can be added to the list of BCS schools vying for Liberty County Panther linebacker Raekwon McMillan.
According to Clemson.scout.com, Clemson recruiting coordinator Jeff Scott made McMillan an offer Tuesday morning.
McMillan, who is entering his junior year, has received offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Mississippi, North Carolina State, Ohio State, South Carolina, Clemson and Alabama State, according to Yahoo sports.
Rivals.com reported McMillan is projected to be a five-star recruit for the class of 2014.
The 6-foot-3-inch, 235-pound linebacker has the speed and build the big colleges are looking for. McMillan reportedly has a 29-inch vertical leap and can run the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds. According to maxpreps.com, he tallied 71 solo tackles and 26 assists, one sack and one pass deflected. He also had 18 carries for 64 yards on offense.
